Walker Art Gallery – Highlights tour: exploring our Collections
Join us at the Walker Art Gallery for a tour of Liverpool’s most outstanding art collection and discover the masterpieces hidden within the National Gallery of the North.
Listen as our Tour Guides transport you to the past and lead you on an artistic journey from the 18th to 20th centuries. Uncover, with them, the secrets behind some of the world-renowned paintings in our collection; the dramatic history of Dante’s Dream by Rossetti; the hidden symbolism in Millais’ Isabella; and discover the British masters: Gainsborough, Hogarth, and Turner.
Tours are available at 11am, 1pm, and 3pm, subject to availability. Please check tour availability ahead of your visit. Our information desk can be contacted on 01514784199 (10am-5pm). On entry, please ask a member of staff for meeting point.
