Sit With A Picture – gently guiding participants in the art of looking at a painting

We are pleased to announce that Galerie Betty Charles will be participating in the Art History Festival 2025, on Saturday 20th September with our “Sit With A Picture” event.  

We invite people to come and visit our friendly, calming gallery, away from the stress of everyday life to experience pictures featuring nature, landscapes and seascapes. Here, near the beautiful Suffolk coast, our invited guests will take their seats for around 30 minutes and really look into a painting gently guided by our experienced art historians and curators. In the process we hope you will experience the profound connections between art, nature, and emotional and mental wellbeing that looking at art can bring.

Booking essential but the event is totally free.

For those unable to attend on 20th September, this event will occur again on Wednesday 24th September.
