Off The Wall – Exhibition Opening

Off The Wall is the first solo exhibition by Harlow Art Trust’s 10th STAIR (Sculpture Town Artist In Residence) Irina Prentice. Working where art meets architecture, Prentice draws on Harlow New Town’s built past and present using brick as its starting point. Scratching the surface, bricks and the walls that make up the town’s homes, streets and public buildings and the stories they reveal. Through sculpture, archival material and participatory activities, the exhibition asks: what do walls reveal about the places we inhabit, and what emerges when we explore them and the parts that make them up?
