Ian Hamilton Finlay – Avant Gardener

Join the Scottish Society for Art History in celebrating the centenary of the internationally acclaimed artist, poet and gardener Ian Hamilton Finlay, with a special online event. Our speakers will explore Finlay’s fascination with nature, most famously manifested in the development of his art garden Little Sparta.

The event will feature short talks by Magnus Linklater (Chair of Little Sparta Trust), Kirstie Meehan (National Galleries Scotland) and James Wylie (V&A Dundee).
