Artist Talk: Ally Wallace

Glasgow-based artist Ally Wallace works across a range of disciplines, including sculpture, drawing and video. His work reflects his interest in architecture, with past and current projects focussing mainly on Modernist buildings. He often works on site, drawing and videoing directly from architectural subjects, with the gathered information helping to inform his sculptural work in the studio.

Join Ally for a talk about his exhibition in Galleries 2 and 3 at the Lillie Art Gallery, combines studio-based and on-site aspects of his work. Throughout his career, Ally has exhibited his work internationally and has been the recipient of major awards including from the Pollock-Krasner Foundation, Creative Scotland and the Leverhulme Trust.
