Inspired by living nature: a pop-up exhibition in the Western Art Print Room

The Ashmolean’s unrivalled collection of works on paper is rarely on display within the museum galleries. Here is an opportunity to experience the wonderful atmosphere of the Print Room and its treasures, with a pop-up showing of some of our finest prints, drawings and watercolours. From fresh spring landscapes painted in Pre-Raphaelite detail, to bold wood engravings capturing the complex movement of water, you will see how artists have responded to the beauties of nature across the centuries. Inspired by clouds and mountains, trees and rivers, they have produced some of the most memorable reflections of our living world. Come and discover the magic of nature transformed into art.
