Meet the Speakers:

Lee Cavaliere is Artistic Director of VOLTA, an art fair in Basel, Switzerland. The fair brings together galleries and artists from all over the world and has been running since 2005. Cavaliere holds experience in both the museum and gallery sectors, having worked with the world-famous collection displays of Tate and delivering contemporary exhibitions at Max Wigram Gallery and the Fine Art Society, London. He co-founded the world’s first online art museum VOMA and is founder of the arts education charity The Sixteen Trust. With this intention, he is committed to spotlighting new artistic perspectives and emphasising access for galleries to the emerging markets.​

Elikem Logan is a London and Accra-based Ghanaian art historian and writer specialising in West African modernism and contemporary art. A former Sotheby’s cataloguer, he now advises international collectors and institutions. His research and writing explore postcolonial legacies, restitution, and global modernism. He holds degrees from the University of Oxford and the University of St Andrews and has spoken at venues including the Oxford Africa Conference and the London Design Biennale.

Charlie Mills is a curator and writer based in London. He works as Senior Curator and Producer of Visual Arts at Bold Tendencies and is an Associate at Hannah Barry Gallery. In 2019, he co-founded Collective Ending HQ, a gallery and studios complex in South London. Charlie curates and produces independent exhibitions and writes for a number of international galleries and artists, as well as conducting regular interviews for émergent magazine. He graduated with a BA in History of Art and an MA in Cultural Studies from Goldsmiths College, where he is now a regular MFA Visiting Tutor.
